The longevity of your porous concrete court depends of the quality of its maintenance. A badly maintained court may disintegrate and lead to a risk of leaks, an uneven bounce of the ball and the need to rebuild the court prematurely.
A good maintenance will include an annual application of a preventative fungicide.
The court needs restoration measures every 10 years, which consists of identifying any cracks and gaps in the concrete foundations and fixing these in order to restore the original porosity.
Once these operations have been completed, there is an application using the ‘Airless’ gun in two layers, crossed with a supplementary layer at the bottom of the court of an acrylic paint with an elastomer base, which is resistant to UV and inclement weathers and will make your court shine like new.
